Victron Energy - Orion-Tr Smart Non-Isolated DC-DC Charger 24/24-17A (400W)
VICTRON ENERGY ORI242440140 , the Orion-Tr Smart DC-DC charger is a professional adaptive 3-step DC-DC charger with integrated Bluetooth, 12/12-30A and 360W. For use in dual battery systems in vehicles or on boats where the (smart) generator and starter battery are used to charge the service battery. The device can be monitored and programmed via Bluetooth and can be controlled via a remote on/off switch and has a motor using a sensing mechanism. The Orion Tr-smart charger can be used in 12V or 24V systems and is suitable for both lead acid and lithium batteries. Models up to 400W are available and an unlimited number of multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase the output power. Suitable for high temperatures up to 55°C with a total power rating of up to 40°C.
Compatible with Bluetooth Smart
Any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or other device can be used to monitor, change settings and update the charger when new software features become available.

Three-stage adaptive charging algorithm: bulk-absorption-float
- For oxygen batteries, it is important that the absorption time is reduced for smaller discharges to avoid overcharging the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to ensure the battery is fully charged.
- For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed, defaulting to two hours.
- Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be selected.
Remote control on/off
You can connect a remote control on/off switch or a relay to a 2-pole connector. Alternatively, you can switch the H (right) terminal of the 2-pole connector to battery positive or the L (left) terminal of the 2-pole connector to battery negative (or e.g. a vehicle chassis).
All models are short circuit protected and can be connected in parallel to increase the output current.
An unlimited number of devices can be connected in parallel.
High temperature protection
The output current decreases at high ambient temperatures.
IP43 protection
When the device is installed with the screw terminals facing down.
