Fully encapsulated: water resistant, shock resistant and fire retardant

Water, oil or dirt will not harm the Blue Smart IP67 Charger. The case is made of cast aluminum while all the electronics are molded in resin.

A new industry standard: With 92%+ efficiency, these chargers dissipate three to four times less heat. And when the battery is fully charged, power consumption drops to less than one watt, which is five to ten times lower than the industry standard.

5-stage adaptive charging algorithm: first stage charge – absorption – reconditioning – maintenance – storage

The Blue Smart charger includes an "adaptive" charge management system controlled by a microprocessor. The "adaptive" function automatically optimizes the charging process based on the type of use made of the battery.

Storage Mode: Less maintenance and less aging during periods of battery disuse

Storage mode is activated when the battery has not been discharged for 24 consecutive hours. In storage mode the flow voltage is reduced to 2.2V/cell (13.2V for a 12V battery) to minimize corrosion of the positive plates. The voltage is returned to the “absorption” level once a week to equalize the battery’s state of charge. This function prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation, the main causes of premature battery aging.

Also charges LiFePO₄ batteries

LiFePO₄ batteries are charged with a simple constant current – ​​absorption – float algorithm.

Thermal protection

It can be used in a hot environment such as the engine room. The output current will drop if the temperature exceeds 60°C, but the charger will continue to work.
