APPLICATION FIELDS Sikaflex-298 FC is suitable for bonding materials made of synthetic resins (except polyethylene and polypropylene) for deck coverings and for settling Teak flooring on top of the sub-deck surface. Suitable substrates include GRP, marine plywood, steel, aluminium treated with an anti-corrosion coating (epoxy or polyurethane-acrylic based) and stainless steel. Sikaflex-298 FC is the faster skin forming version of Sikaflex-298. This higher skin formation rate should be taken into account when used at high temperatures and/or in higher humidity. Sikaflex-298 FC is suitable for experienced professional users only. Tests with actual substrates under real conditions should be performed to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
