3M™ Perfect-It™ Fast Cut Compound adds a high gloss to repainted parts and original paint. It is a fast-acting, coarse compound ideal for tooled applications as the first step in any finishing process. The orange foam pad to use. The finishing process requires a subsequent step with a finer compound to achieve a high gloss finish. The next step can be made with 3M™ Perfect-It™ Fine Compound or 3M™ Perfect-It™ Abrasive Polish, applied with a black foam pad.
