EPOXY FINISH FOR INTERIOR

EPOGEL is a protective epoxy finish for interiors, without solvents, certified for contact with food and fresh water. It can therefore be used for drinking water tanks, cold rooms, or any part that may come into contact with food or drinking water. EPOGEL meets the requirements of EU Regulation no. 10/2011 and DM 21/03/73 (and subsequent updates). It is also ideal for painting bilges, lockers and other internal surfaces of fiberglass hulls.
Equipped with high waterproofing power, it eliminates the possibility of osmosis due to water absorption from inside the hull. It blocks the emanations of styrene or other monomers not completely polymerized that give that typical and unpleasant smell that can be felt inside fiberglass boats even after years from their manufacture; the air inside the boat thus becomes much healthier.
The film obtained with EPOGEL is shiny and hard, it is resistant to aggressive agents such as petrol or diesel, it does not absorb dirt or oily substances and is very easy to clean. Since it does not contain solvents, EPOGEL does not give rise to toxic or dangerous vapours and can be applied safely even in narrow spaces.
