weBBoat® Plus 5G is the new integrated COASTAL INTERNET 5G/Wi-Fi DUAL SIM system designed by Glomex to surf the internet at high speed, ensuring stable and fast connections up to over 30 miles away from the coast. weBBoa® Plus 5G is equipped with 4 5G antennas that receive the internet signal and redirect it inside the fiberglass boat with a safe and protected WiFi network that can be used simultaneously by 32 different and authorized devices. Thanks to weBBoat® Plus 5G you can It has an ultra-fast connection download speed on board: up to 2.5 Gbps. In addition, if you are browsing in an area without 5G coverage, the LTE CAT 16 unit allows you to have a 4G connection speed of up to 1 Gbps. 5G offers a connection with the same level of fiber, but totally wireless and therefore perfect for use on board.
Inside the dome, there are 4 high-performance 5G antennas and 2 x 2.4/5GHz MIMO Wi-Fi to optimize data transfer speeds with a huge increase in connection speed. This means you can watch streaming TV channels and platforms like Netflix offshore, or work remotely on your boat, using your internet connection as you would on land.

Furthermore, if a known Wi-Fi network is present and available (for example the marina Wi-Fi network), weBBoat Plus 5G will automatically connect to it to limit internet connection costs. weBBoat® Plus 5G is a PLUG&PLAY product that only requires a 10 to 30 Volt power cable and one/two Micro-SIM cards for internet browsing; all this makes the system particularly easy to install. weBBoat® Plus 5G is also easy to use thanks to the new free Glomex App available for iOS and Android devices. weBBoat® Plus 5G has additional features such as the “carrier aggregation” function to optimize data transfer speed and exploit the full potential offered by the Internet, automatic APN selection, management/reading/sending of SMS to monitor Internet consumption and automatic switching mode with on-board satellite/V-SAT Internet devices and a real-time encrypted peer-to-peer connection for remote configuration and technical assistance that increase the performance and usefulness of your integrated Coastal Internet system.
