Glomex wants to simplify the life of boaters by offering them a robust, high-performance universal VHF antenna, easily adaptable to every need and extremely quick to install.

The new antenna, made with the best raw materials, is composed of a fiberglass rod, resistant to stress and treated with anti-yellowing materials, which protects the internal brass elements.

1.2m long, with a gain of 3dB, the antenna is suitable for both masthead installation in order to have the best reception and transmission performance and, thanks to various optional bases, for installation on motor boats.

At the lower end the antenna has a 5/8”x24 threaded bushing on which it is possible to install in an extremely easy and rapid way the new Glomex RG8X coaxial cable of the highest quality and low loss, offered in various lengths and already pre-installed at both ends with the special professional and miniaturized FME connector.

If, however, it is necessary to have a longer antenna, it is possible to use the new robust 1.2m extension, made with the same construction materials as the VHF antenna to obtain an exceptional aesthetic.

This extension is easily mountable on the lower end of the antenna and is equipped with an integrated 1”x14 internal bushing to facilitate its fixing on any Glomex base.

All these features allow the antenna to be extremely flexible, allowing the yachtsman great freedom in composing the VHF system and extremely easy and quick installation, thanks also to the FME-UHF adapter and the various optional supports.
