Improve your awareness of your surroundings and increase safety at sea with the new AIS 800 transceiver. It allows you to view on your chartplotter the AIS (Automatic Identification System) data of class B/SO of surrounding vessels with all the identification information and data relating to position, course and speed as well as sending your own.

With 5 watts of transmit power, it provides up-to-date and precise position data.1 This device automatically transmits information about the navigation status of your vessel and simultaneously receives information about nearby vessels that are using the AIS system, such as position, course, speed, and maximum proximity to the target (CPA – Closest Point of Approach). In this way, the chartplotter offers a 360° view of surrounding marine traffic to navigate with maximum safety. The integrated active splitter allows you to use the same antenna as the VHF device without having to install an additional antenna. The new AIS 800 includes a built-in GPS (with connector for the optional external antenna) and integrates seamlessly with the Garmin Marine system on board. NMEA 2000/0183 connectivity allows for easy integration with compatible chartplotters, multifunction displays and simplifies the process of updating the software.
