The single screw pump is a volumetric self-priming pump with a single rotating axis. The stainless steel rotor and rubber stator are the main elements for pumping. The rotor is a circular section screw with a single start and a very large pitch. The rubber stator inside the body has a hollow screw-shaped core. The rotor, rotating inside the stator, is forced to perform a hypocycloidal movement; during this movement, the cavities identified between the rotor and the stator perform a helical movement and transport the fluid collected from the suction section to the delivery section.
